- Main: O Lord, glory be to You! Indeed, I have been among the wrongdoers. O You Who heard the supplication of Zechariah and granted him in his old age a pure servant (ghulam). O You Who bestowed Your favor upon Moses and Aaron and delivered them and their people from the great distress. O You Who brought Joseph out of the well and prison. O You Who restored Jacob's sight after his eyes had turned white from grief, for he was suppressing his sorrow. O You Who saved us from the plagues of this world and its afflictions. You saved us from worry. O You Who will rescue us from the questioning on the Day of Resurrection and deliver us from the torment of the Fire and admit us to Paradise. O God, You are the All-Powerful, the Almighty Margin: Anytime someone sees a new moon and looks (nigah) at this image (shekl), from the beginning to the end of the month, no calamity will befall him. He will not have any needs and will live long.
