- Main: separation from the beloved even once defies patience; I do not know when the sapling of patience will bear fruits. [poem by Sa’di] O qibla of the desirous ones, from the excess of bewilderment I do not know what to utter and from the intensity of exertion I do not know what to write verse What I endured in the time of separation from you, is impossible for me to write in a single letter. [poem by Hafiz] Therefore, ? I will prevent the steed of the tongue to gallop (jawlān) in the hippodrome (mizmār) of expression and will relay [the discussing] of this affair to the speech [that will transpire] at the time of your ever felicitous presence. Verse He who desires to serve does not dare utter a word, as the nightingale only narrates his tales when the rose appears in the garden. [poem by Sa’di] The anticipating eyes of those ailing in the bed of separation are open like the narcissus. They expect a curing cup from the draught-house of union. May those in destitute (bīchāragān) no longer be abandoned in the sickness of separation. Written to an esteemed (gerāmī) friend (dust) I saw in a sweet dream that a moon face appeared; the image of his visage ended the night of separation. It was interpreted to mean that the one who has departed will return; I wish that he came sooner than the arbiter. Oh, refuge of the sincere ones, in accordance to the dictum verse As the promise of union

- متن: فراق یار بیکبار هیچ صبر نکند ، نهال وصل ندانم کی ببار اید، قبله مشتاقان از حیرانیها نمیدانم چه میگویم و از پرفشانیها نمیدانم چه بنویسم بیت آنچه در مدت هجر تو کشیدم هیهات ، در یکی نامه محالست که تقریر کنم ، بنابراین ان؟ سمند زبانرا از جولان در مضمار بیان باز میدارد و این ماجرا بزبان حضور موفور السرور میگذارد بیت چه پروای سخن گفتن بود مشتاق خدمت را ، حدیث آنگه کند بلبل که گل با بوستان اید ، بیماران بستر هجرانیرا نرگس وار دیده انتظار بازست؟ و از شربتخانه وصال قدحی شافی توقع دارند بیش ازین بیچارگانرا درعلت فرقت نگذارند بدوستی از دوستان گرامی نوشته شده دیدم بخواب خوش که ماهی بر آمدی ، کز عکس روی او شب هجران سر امدی ، تعبیر رفت دیار سفر کرده میرسد ، ای کاش هر چه زود – تر از داور امدی ، مخلصان پناهها بحکم بیت وعده وصل
